Everyone at Preston Electrical would like to wish everyone health, wealth and happiness in the New Year ahead.
This year’s Christmas party took place at The Royal Hotel in Scarborough. The event and overnight accommodation were fully paid for by the company, so all staff and their partners enjoyed a 3-course meal, a band & disco complete with refreshments… with a few of them waking up the following day with a sore head.
Thank you to Purple Dog training provider for getting some of our staff updated on their first aid! Our employees learned how to examine a casualty, use a defibrillator, familiarize their selves with basic life support and learn how to control bleeding and trauma. The skills learned help to overcome a potentially threatening situation long enough for medically trained individuals to arrive on scene. Well done all involved!
Preston Electrical are happy to announce they have partnered up with leading car charging manufacturing specialist ’Sevadis’! Here at Preston Electrical we have been installing EV charging points for some time now, to domestic and commercial premises. We believe with this partnership we can go one step further being able to offer instant technical support for the client and affordable EV charging points by using our special partnership discounts.

Preston Electrical Group is delighted to announce its now owned by its employees after the board of directors transferred ownership to an employee ownership trust (EOT).
The Yorkshire company is now 100% owned by the EOT, which holds the shares on behalf of the employees as the beneficiaries. This gives all employees a direct vested interest in the business while the existing board of directors continue their roles with no change.
Founded in 1995, Preston Electrical Ltd provides electrical services and directly employs 50 people out of offices in Thirsk and Huddersfield.
Dave Preston, managing director, said “The business is in a strong and healthy position and so it would have been an easy to sell to a third party. We place great value in the contribution made by all of our employees and going forward with the EOT was therefore our preferred option”.
Preston Electrical are delighted to announce we have been awarded Constructionline Gold Member status in line with our current efforts. The whole team are delighted.
