Thirsk Netball Team fundraising to install a defibrilator at their training venue

For Thirsk Netball Clubs 10th anniversary they wanted to raise enough money to fit a defibrillator at Thirsk High School, where they train and play some matches.

To raise the money for the defibrillator, they participated in a number of sponsored challenges including,

a 10 hour silence,
bake sale,
100 netball shots a day for 10 days,
running every day for 10 days,
10 jars of honey being donated by one of the team,
2×10 days of no sweets or chocolate,
10 odd jobs for different people,
no phone for 10 hours,
over 10k swim in 10 days,
running up 10 levels of stairs,
and a three legged 10k run.

They achieved their goal, and the defibrillator was fitted by us.

Contract Awarded

BAM Construction have awarded Preston Electrical to undertake all electrical works to Framwellgate Moor School, Durham.

Thirsk Netball Club has been working hard to raise money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
